Classical fermented foods are suitable for preserving cucumbers and other vegetable mixes and milder ones, especially fruit ones, as the main ingredient in salad dressings and in low-temperature cooking.

Along with soda (baking soda), which is alkaline, vinegar, which is an acid, is an effective agent for routine household cleaning. It is convenient to store in spray bottles.
